Hayfest 2014

I was browsing through my computer and noticed these photographs. I remember they had a festival at the Jackson Homestead in Newton, MA. There was a booth where you could wear some funky clothing back in the day and pretend you were a part of the era. Imagining yourself in the 1700s, I think it was quite fun. I chose not to participate, but my kids did and boy did they have fun.

They chose their own choice of clothing. Alex got a hat and a fake mustache and Victoria had an apron around her. Don’t they look as if they belonged during the time period?

Alex: "In your hands, silly Toria,"
Alex: “In your hands, silly Toria,”
Victoria: "Where are my bucket of eggs?"
Victoria: “Where are my bucket of eggs?”
